I didn't melt anything yesterday because we were at my parents' all day and my in-laws' all night. Also, I haven't melted much today because we've been busy unwrapping presents and stuffing our faces all day. However I did get some waxy gifts from my husband and sister in law. Hubs got me the four Orleans Candles waxes I mentioned in a previous post. My sister in law got me the Whoot Scentsy burner for my kitchen, which was the only room that did not have its own melter. I absolutely love this melter. It is adorable. It's a white porcelain owl that glows when it's turned on and it fits perfectly with all the owl decor in my kitchen. With the melter I received Scentsy's Peppermint Dreams which is very light and minty. Perfect winter scent.
Anyway, onto what I'm burning now.
Living room -- Orleans Candles Orleans No. 9 which is listed on their website as an exotic floral, I believe. I loved this scent in the store and I believe it is their hallmark scent. It has the comforting homey scent of a grandma's house without smelling like mothballs and ointment. It has an AMAZING cold throw. Beautiful and intoxicating. Warm, eh. The first half hour or so as it melted was magical, but the staying power isn't there. Even with 2 cubes. I still love this scent so I would recommend it.
Bathroom -- 1 cube Better Homes and Gardens Sugared Melon Kiwi and boy does that one cube pack a punch. My bathroom is about 10 square feet, if that and this scent flows out into the hall and on to the entry way even with the doors closed. It's sweet but not sickeningly sweet. Very upbeat. I definitely love this one but I do believe BH&G discontinued it. I hope I'm mistaken on this.
I still have the Scentsy Lotus Cove melting in my bedrooms but I haven't turned them on today. I intend to leave these in there, possibly only changing the one in my little sister's room when she comes over, but she likes the Lotus Cove too so it may be here to stay, which means I need to order some more.
This post has been much longer than I expected. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and that you all remembered the reason for the season.
Ta ta for now,
Melissa
